Overview
The performance will take place at Bristol Lloyds Amphitheatre and Waterfront Square on August 2 from 4pm to 10.30pm.
The band topped the UK singles chart on three occasions and have topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic with their reggae cover of Neil Diamond’s Red Red Wine.
They also brought to a new global audience hits such as Eric Donaldson’s Cherry Oh Baby, Lord Creator’s Kingston Town and Johnny Osbourne’s Come Back Darling through their Labour of Love albums that were created between 1983 and 1998.
I've only just become aware of this event, and the early bird tickets all went before I saw it. I don't know how long tickets will be available, it's anyone's guess, but I plan to buy them as soon as I have a minimum of 4 people booking. Janet has kindly offered to host.
