Spice Dines Japanese at Koi Ki - Harborne
Overview
One of our Spice members told us about this new restaurant in Harborne so we thought that we would give it a try.
As its so new there are only 4 reviews on Trip Advisor and they swing from fabulous to ok so lets go along and see what we think!
The menu looks like there will be something for all tastes from Bao Buns, spring rolls and gyoza to sushi, sashimi and katsu curry. Lots of variety at reasonable prices.
As we are a larger group the restaurant have asked that we all choose either a starter and main or main and dessert.

Location & Itinerary
As many of you know, we usually look to work with a set price, choice menu. This makes it easier for us to collect the money in advance and then settle the bill with the venue.
We are finding more and more restaurants who we would love to include in our events programme who don’t have a set price menu, and the menu options are too varied for us to use a mid-price point, to charge everyone the same.
We tried a method where you pay a nominal fee to Spice and just pay for your food on the day but that makes it very complicated for the host.
Rather than excluding these restaurants we are trying a method whereby members pay a nominal amount to Spice to book, and pre-order their food in advance, but off the full menu. We will then update each booking with the actual price and (where necessary) a service charge.
You can see their current menu using this link but bear in mind that the menu could change before our visit. We will send a link to pre-order your menu choices nearer the date of the meal.
Harborne High Street is well served by public transport,. The nearest car park to the venue is York Street Car Park (North Side)
