Overview

We will start our visit with a backstage tour of the Theatre Royal, then we can have a light lunch or coffee, and a walk around this lovely town, before boarding a fabulous amphibious craft to enjoy the Duck Tour. After our tour, we will have an early 2 course dinner at The Boatman, which is nestled on the banks of the Thames, before returning to The Theatre Royal to take our seats for The Mousetrap. The town is compact and very easily accessible via rail. The nearest station is Windsor & Eton Riverside, which is a very short walk from the Theatre.

Theatre Royal Windsor

Nestled beside the castle, this beautiful historic theatre is in the heart of regal Windsor. They delight and entertain audiences with a wide range of quality drama, comedy, musicals, opera and family shows throughout the year.

Duck Tour

The Mallard Splash Road and River tour. See all the sights Windsor has to offer, 1 hour tour, 50:50 Road and River, a complete tour of the Crown Estate. Enjoy the sights of the beautiful town of Windsor.

The Boatman

Windsor’s only pub on the river, nestled below Windsor Castle beside the River Thames and overlooking Eton Bridge. It is just a short stroll from the Queen Victoria Statue and Windsor Castle and is not far from the footpaths and walks around Eton. The menu is freshly prepared using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible and includes British favourites as well as seasonal twists. We need to provide a pre-order, a google form will be provided with the confirmation email.

The Mousetrap

Getting There

There are 2 stations, the nearest to the venue is Windsor & Eton Riverside, but Central is not far away either. Parking is available at Windsor & Eton Riverside but you will need the Ringo App to pay for it. In the summer, all the car parks get busy so alow yourself plenty of time. Windsor long-stay car parks include:

• Romney Lock and King Edward VII car parks on Datchet Road

• Alma Road and Alexandra Gardens, next to the Coach Park

These car parks are all less than 10 minutes’ walk to Windsor Castle and the town centre and are much cheaper than the short-stay car parks in the middle of town.
