Dinton Pastures Coffee and stroll
Overview
Join Jackie for coffee and a leisurely stroll around Dinton Pastures Country Park. The park is situated within easy reach of Reading and Wokingham.
We will meet at the Activity Centre Car park, have coffee in the Activity centre cafe which has a lovely deck, overlooking the boating lake, then walk for about forty minutes/ an hour.
Entry to the park is free, but car parking is chargeable. Please share lifts if you can. Current parking charges (as of 17/05/23) are: £2 per hour or £8 for 4 or more hours. I would suggest you pay for 2 hours.

The park is 450 acres in size. It has seven lakes, two rivers, three public bird hides, and meadows. One of the lakes, Lavells Lake is designated as a local nature reserve.The two rivers that flow through the park are the River Loddon and the Emm Brook. The Museum of Berkshire Aviation and the headquarters of the British Entomological and Natural History Society are both located in the park.
The site is popular for a number of sports including disc golf, sailing, angling, kayaking, and canoeing.
