In Sanskrit, Yaatra, signifies a “journey”, an odyssey of discovery and transformation. True to its name, there restaurant guides you through the storied fields of Punjab, the ethereal valleys of Kashmir and the majestic Himalayan belt.
In this culinary voyage, centuries-old traditions meet refined artistry, as ancestral recipes are reimagined into dishes of timeless elegance, all within the walls of an Edwardian Grade II-listed fire station, famed for its role in saving Westminster Abbey during the Blitz of 1941.
Dine Inside A Historic Firehouse
Once the bustling engine rooms of a 1906 redbrick fire station, there home now kindles a different flame, one of culinary artistry and refined indulgence. The Edwardian grandeur endures in every detail, the stately carriage doors, the lustrous glazed tiles, the original fireman’s pole and the storied Watch Room where Churchill is said to have rung the bell. Here, history is not merely preserved, it is savoured.
