Overview

Brand new PAC-MAN LIVE EXPERIENCE is a ground breaking immersive adventure that brings the iconic arcade classic to life and we'll be the first to try it at this introductory price.

Wearing a high-tech PAC-Vest, players transform into the iconic yellow Chomper in this 50min live gaming experience.

You will be transported into a dynamic arcade world where you will physically run, dash, and chomp your way through iconic PAC-MAN maze. Collect POWER PELLETS, evade the classic Ghosts and rack up points in your quest for victory.

Inspired by original gameplay, and with new bonus levels exclusive to the LIVE experience, this life-sized, real world video game is the ultimate social adventure.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Using a combination of cutting-edge wearable technology, projection mapping and augmented reality, you will be transported into the world of PAC-MAN.

This revolutionary tech creates a fully interactive, multi-sensory adventure, seamlessly blending the real world with augmented reality - no headsets needed!

Navigate through a life-sized projected maze as you become PAC-MAN himself. Dodge ghostly pursuers, collect POWER PELLETS, and chase high scores in this physical recreation of the world's most famous arcade game.

HOW LONG WILL THE EXPERIENCE LAST?

The full experience will last 50mins. You will be playing the maze for approximately 30mins.

I DON’T WANT TO PLAY, CAN I JUST WATCH?

If you don't want to play, you can accompany ticket holders and watch from our viewing platform. Only ticket holders will be able to play the maze.

11.15am inside the venue, ready to start promptly as our game booked for 11.30am

Getting There

The venue is very centrally located in Manchester and attainable using Manchester’s public transport network. Deansgate Castlefield Metrolink Station is a 7 minute (0.3 mile) walk away. The main entrance is on Lower Byrom Street on the corner of Studio 1, just next door to the Science and Industry Museum and directly opposite St John’s Gardens. There is no onsite parking on site but there are a large number of public and paid parking options in the immediate area.

What Should You Wear: This is an active experience where you'll be moving, dashing and chomping your way to victory. It's normal to get the blood pumping during your adventure, so come prepared:

Please dress for fun and comfort:

  • Comfortable shoes - no high heels or open-toed shoes
  • This is an active experience so please wear something you are able to move around in
  • As a physical activity, you are likely to get warm, so dressing lightly is recommended
  • Fancy dress is permitted as long as it does not restrict your movement or ability to wear the PAC-Vest

Restrictions : PAC-MAN LIVE uses a lot of different projection and lighting technologies and we do not recommend anyone with photosensitivity to attend.

This is a physical activity so you will be required to move around the arena. You will also be required to wear a PAC-Vest.
