Sunday Lunch at The Banyan Tree
Overview
Today were off for Sunday Lunch at The Banyan Tree which is an independent family run neighbourhood Bar and Restaurant situated on Ellesmere Street on the edge of contemporary Castlefield. With an eclectic menu, it's a modern all-day eatery with booth seats and funky contemporary decor - and the best bit is it is highly rated on google so we look forward to this, our first visit.
Today we are trying their Sunday Roast Dinner - you can choose from their meat offerings on the day each served with crispy garlic & thyme potatoes, seasonal vegetable, yorkshire pudding and a rich gravy. For veggies/vegans they serve a Vegan Wellington of butternut squash, kale, spinach, beetroot and thyme served with seasonal vegetables, vegan gravy, roast potatoes and homemade vegan pesto.

Location & Itinerary
We will choose our meat on the day, subject to availability, all served with crispy garlic & thyme roast potatoes, seasonal vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and a rich gravy.
Vegetarian/ Vegan option
Butternut squash, kale, spinach and beetroot wellington served with, seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes, a vegan gravy and a homemade vegan pesto.
The nearest Metrolink is Cornbrook from where it is a 10 minute (0.5 mile) walk.
