About Our South Coast Group
Hi I’m Samantha and I’m the Spice Coordinator for the Solent area. We cover Southampton, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight, as well as the New Forest, Lymington, Southampton, Romsey, Stockbridge, Winchester, Alresford, Fareham and Chichester to Bognor Regis.
I joined Spice 13 years ago after living in South-West France for 10 years and finding my social circle had all but disappeared or my friends were at a different stage of life to myself. Spice Social offered me the opportunity to meet like-minded people who were looking for friendship, fun and adventure. Being very heavily involved in my work I trusted Spice Social to organise my social life for me and they were spot on with the varied programme of events they held.
I have recently taken over the planning of the Spice Social Solent programme and I am developing an exciting, varied programme of events with you in mind, whether it be dining out at a fancy restaurant, cocktails, or dancing until late. Or maybe it’s a walk on the South Down Way or in the New Forest, or an exhilarating sailing trip on the Solent – we have you covered.
Spice Social Solent is not a dating club, we attract both singles and couples in the age bracket of 35+ who are fun-loving, adventurous and friendly people but most of all, we are a welcoming group.
We have membership types for everyone. Our most popular and best value membership is a one-off payment of £50 for your first year. This offers fantastic value and a commitment from you to give Spice Social a real go and make the changes your life may need.

What Our Members Say
Spice already offers a variety of social events, including fantastic parties, quizzes, sporting events, walking trips, social days, book clubs and great weekends away. In 2020, the coordinators have really pulled out all the stops with online events, so a huge thanks to all. We’ve had lots of fun, laughter, topical discussions, music and ways to keep our brain active. Most important for me has been the support in tough times and making friends from all over the UK. I can’t wait to get back out on Spice events to meet folks and still catch-up at online events!
