Sue's Sunday Walk, Ewelme Snowdrop Walk
Overview
Please arrive by 10.15 for a prompt start at 10.30am.
The Snowdrop walks is a 10 mile circular walk through open fields, covering part of the Ridgeway and Swyncombe Downs
From the village of Ewelme we’ll walk past the church and alms houses then across open fields towards Upperton Farm and then to Britwell Salome. Then we’ll follow part of the Ridgeway until we reach Swyncombe where there will be a lovely display of snowdrops in the churchyard of St Botolph, an 11th century church. We’ll stop at the church for the snowdrop teas, so bring some money to support the church – we will have earned a cup of tea and cake after our walking! The final part of the walk will be across the Ewelme Downs and back to the car park.
