Join your Spice friends at this new Virtual Reality venue.

If you've been hooked into the Squid Games TV series then this is for you!

This is a NEW Release at Sandbox VR!

Created in partnership with Netflix, Squid Game Virtuals allows you to be fully immersed in the action of the most-watched Netflix show of all time.

Compete against your crew in several pulse-pounding (yet more approachable, but just as thrilling) mini-games inspired by the #1 Netflix series. Play again and again to experience and master all-new games and challenges.

Put on your tracksuit and transform into a contest participant. Race against the clock and aim to get the highest score while trying to survive the perils of each game. Will you be the lone survivor and grand prize winner?

Our evening will consist of :

Arrival to check in with our Sandbox host 15 minutes prior to your booking time to ensure our Sandbox VR experience does not get cut short This will consist of about 10 minutes of training and setup, about 30 minutes in the VR experience. Another 10 minutes post experience to grab a drink from our robot bartender and re-live your experience with cinematic video highlights with you and your group as the stars.

We will be in the game as a group and will not be mixed with any other groups.

Please note that Sandbox VR have a very strict 5 minute grace period policy for reservations and any tardiness could result in our booking being cancelled.

Includes

A 1 hour visit to Sandbox consisting of 10 - 15 minutes training and set up, 30 minutes game play and 15 mins in the bar to watch the video of your game play, plus your Spice Host.

Extras

You are able to buy drinks at the venue on the night. Sandbox has the first fully robotic bartender in the UK.

Getting There

Sandbox VR is located in Grand Central Shopping Centre, Birmingham, B2 4BF

The closest train stations are New Street and Moor Street, both less than 10 minutes walk away.

Parking near the venue is limited, but there are various car parks in the Bullring & Grand Central vicinity.

Before You Go

Am I likely to get motion sickness? While we can’t 100% guarantee it, the experiences are designed to be very different from other VR experiences you may have tried before: it’s room scale, you can freely move around, and your entire body is tracked. Motion sickness is caused by a difference between your actual and perceived motion. Because the motion capture technology tracks you in real-time, your real movements translate to your perceived movements. Many guests who have had motion sickness in other VR experiences do not experience it at Sandbox VR

Physical Requirements:

As a guideline, guests should be

1.2m (48″) or taller to play

Able to support gear weight of at least 2KG’s (4 lbs) for up to 1 hour

Able to walk unassisted for 30 minutes continuously with full use of both hands.

Unfortunately, this experience is not currently wheelchair accessible.

This experience is not recommended to pregnant women or those with heart conditions

If you are prone to sensory over-stimulation, we would advise you to contact the Spice office and discuss the suitability of the experience so you can make an informed decision.
