Spontaneous Potter is touring all across the UK in 2025!
Improv is one of my favourite things to see, and I am looking forward to seeing Improv about one of my favourite book series! The Venue is Just the Tonic Comedy Club which is based at Sub89/Popworld in Reading after the show, we can perhaps go out to eat or maybe have a few drinks because the next day is Good Friday so the majority of us will be able to have a lie in!
The Spontaneous Players are the improvisational comedy troupe behind Spontaneous Sherlock and Spontaneous Potter.
They perform entirely improvised Sherlock Holmes and Harry Potter themed comedy shows based on an audience suggestion of a title.
The Spontaneous Players are a critically-acclaimed, award-winning collective of some of the UK's foremost improv talent. They are an Edinburgh-based company who perform all year round at home, at festivals, and across the country.

Spontaneous Potter is an entirely improvised wizarding comedy play, based on an audience suggestion of a fanfiction title. An entirely new Potter adventure is magically improvised on the spot - with live musical accompaniment! Accio tickets for this award-winning adult Potter parody. The venue is about 5 minutes walk from Reading Rail Station, and is on a number of bus routes in Reading. If you are driving, we suggest you park in the Oracle Shopping Centre as it has a cheap overnight rate after 6.30pm
