One of the essential dates in the Spice Summer programme is our annual Summer Ball.
This year for the East and West Midlands Summer Ball we are returning to the delightful Chesford Grange Hotel. It’s an utterly gorgeous, 4-star, country house retreat in the heart of Warwickshire. But what we have for you tonight will also transport you to the intoxicating glamour of a grand Casino. If its good enough for 007, its good enough for Spice.
As well as the usual Spice ingredients of great food and dancing, there will be a ‘fun casino’ to enjoy, which received great feedback last time.
As usual, there will be the option to stay over for the party night or even make a Summer Ball Weekend of it, enjoying the lovely grounds and spa facilities of this fine venue, together with the chance to discover the many world class attractions that Warwickshire has to offer.
Reception: We will meet from early evening for pre drinks in the bar area of the Kenilworth Suite to give us the opportunity to catch up with Spice friends; old friends, new friends and best of all, those friendships yet to be made on the night!
The Party: You can look forward to a sumptuous, formal three course dinner. After dinner our DJ will keep the dance floor full with a wide range of music that will take us into the small hours of Sunday.
The Casino: You need no experience or a suitcase of cash to try your luck at our casino! Tonight, you can take a flutter on the Roulette or Black Jack tables with Spice chips rather than real money. There’s nothing to lose and fun and laughter always guaranteed at our tables!
What to Wear: There’s no ‘dress code’ as such, but why not ‘dress to impress’ and embrace the 007 and casino theme with black tie and cocktail dress attire!
Table Plan: Please let us know if you have any specific seating requests. We will endeavour to meet all requests. The tables are likely to be for 10, so if you want to bring a table sized group, please let us have the names when booking and we'll reserve a complete table for you. We will take seating requests, but don’t worry if you don’t know anyone as we will take care to seat everyone with people who we think they’ll bond with.
Staying Over: We have a limited number of rooms that can be booked for the Saturday night, which includes breakfast on the Sunday. These also include the chance to use the luxurious spa facilities and join in with optional Spice activities over the weekend. Just book either party only or party with accommodation.
Make a weekend of it: We are in such a lovely and interesting area we are offering this as a weekend break. As well as the party, there will be a programme of walks and touristy activities. Here is a link to the weekend event

We stay at the lovely 4-star Chesford Grange Spa hotel (Q hotels).

Feedback from previous Summer Balls at similar venues
- Just a quick note to say as last Saturday was my very first summer party - I absolutely loved it. Everybody looked lovely. The food was great. Venue was brilliant. Atmosphere very good. My only comment to improve on it for next year - it didn't last long enough - the evening was over in a flash!!!! Or so it seemed. :-) Thanks for a great evening. Here's to next year.
