Tonight we dine French at the lovely Bistro Pierre in Mere Green, Sutton Coldfield.
Bistro Pierre consistency serve great food in lovely surroundings with great atmosphere.
Its been a while since we have been to this restaurant and we have been asked by several members to go back here, so here it is, on a Saturday evening.
About Bistro Pierre: In 2024 Bistro Pierre are celebrating their 30th birthday. They are a unique collection of 17 Bistrot’s, with more than 540 family members. Our ‘raison d’être’ is serving great-value, French inspired dishes made with authentic, fresh ingredients. Each Bistrot is warm, welcoming and embraces the distinctive features of the building it sits in, making no Bistrot the same. We create environments where you can comfortably relax whilst feeling like you’ve been transported to France. Many of our Bistrot’s have charming ‘Bar Pierre’s’ where you can keep the hunger at bay by sipping on one of our signature glasses of wine, beer or indulging in one of our many cocktails. Whatever the occasion our Bistrot offers a charming, relaxing place in which to enjoy affordable French-style dishes, freshly prepared by our chefs every day. They have something for everyone including gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options.

Location & Itinerary
As many of you know, we usually look to work with a set price, choice menu. This makes it easier for us to collect the money in advance and then settle the bill with the venue.
We are finding more and more restaurants who we would love to include in our events programme, don’t have a set price menu, and the menu options are too varied for us to use a mid-price point, to charge everyone the same.
We tried a method where you pay a nominal fee to Spice and just pay for your food on the day but that makes it very complicated for the host.
Rather than excluding these restaurants we are using a method whereby members pay a nominal amount to Spice to book, and pre-order their food in advance, but off the full menu. We will then update each booking with the actual price and (where necessary) a service charge.
You can see their current menu using this link but bear in mind that the menu could change before our visit. We will send a link to pre-order your menu choices nearer the date of the meal.
