Saturday Social and Find Out More Night at The White Swan Leeds
An informal night in the pub and a chance for anyone interested to find out more about Spice Social. Catch up with friends over a few drinks, find out who’s doing which events, sort transport, swap stories.
The evening is open to new and long-standing members alike. It's a relaxed social evening where you can meet up with those you’ve already met on events and also new people. Chat over a drink, discuss which events to go to and, if you are new to Spice, find out more about the group.
For anyone new to Spice Social your host will be there to welcome you and give you an introduction to Spice and how the club works. You are welcome to stay for the rest of the evening where you will soon be chatting to some of the regular club members. It’s all very friendly and relaxed, and you’re welcome to simply turn up on the night. Why not bring a friend or two?
New members are advised to arrive early between 7:30pm & 8:00pm before it gets too busy. We expect to be in the raised area to your left as you enter. We should be easy to spot but if you're not sure then just call the coordinator as you arrive. (If you can't make it this early, please still come along as most people are usually around until at least 10pm depending upon transport arrangements.)
Location & Itinerary
We expect to be in the raised area to the left as you enter, however we may be in a different area if any wheelchair users attend.
The White Swan is located on Swan Street and is next to the City Varieties. For those coming from the train station come out into City Square and turn right along Boar Lane past the Trinity Shopping Centre. Turn left onto the pedestrianised Briggate and walk up until you find the last yard on your left before the Headrow.
Limited on street parking on Sovereign Street is available for £3.60 from 6pm, or park for £4.50 in the Trinity car park or £5 in the Victoria car park from 5pm.
