Roe Green and Tyldesley Loopline Heritage Walk with Sunday Lunch
Overview
Join us on Easter Sunday as we walk part of the Roe Green Loopline and Tyldesley Loopline. This circular walk begins and ends at The Barton Arms in Worsley from where we walk up the road past The Green and head over to the 'loopline', the old route of the Roe Green railway line, before returning to the car park.
The walk is approx 6 miles and should take approximately 2.5 hours to complete (with a coffee stop half way at Cup and Crumb Worsley) and is a grade 5 Easy Walk. Please be aware that in wet weather the paths onto the loopline can be muddy. There are also some steps to get us on to the loopline. Once on the loopline is is a flat walk which used to be the old railway lines.
After the walk you will sit down to a well-deserved Sunday Lunch at The Barton Arms in Worsley. The meal is booked for 2pm so if you just want to come for Sunday lunch you can do so but please let the host know not to expect you for the walk.

Please Note:
- Today is a pay as you go (Meet & Eat) event as the prices vary depending on how many courses and what main course dish you have. Spice provides a host and book the table and then on the day you pay for whatever food and drinks you have had and the relevant service charges minus your £10 no show deposit.
- DOGS are welcome on the walk and we have booked a dog friendly table at the pub so you can bring your well behaved dog in with you if required.

Location & Itinerary
We will meet at The Barton Arms car park at 10.50am, departing from the pub car park at 11am.
After the walk we can return to our cars and change our footwear before heading inside for lunch.
Leave the M60 at Junction 13 and take the A575/A572 towards Worsley/Leigh/Swinton. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit on to Worsley Brow/A572. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit on to Barton Road/B5211. After 0.3miles turn left on to Stablefold.
