Robs Anniversary Ramble: Hopwood and Wast Hills Easy Ramble
Overview
Rob has been leading rambles for 10 years so he is leading a few of his original rambles. This was his original solo ramble!
The 6 mile ramble uses sections of the Worcester & Birmingham canal and passes the entrance of the impressive Wast Hills tunnel (one of the longest in the UK).
There are also great views of the area from Wast Hills. Although there are some inclines (which gives us the great views!) there isn’t anything too strenuous and we will take our time.
The route uses some of the North Worcestershire Path and field paths through local farmland.
There will be a half way stop at The Peacock at Forhill
