Great Hayward Floating Market & Shugborough Hot Cross Bun Ramble

This 5 mile route takes us along a scenic stretch of canal to the magnificent Shugborough Estate and back over Cannock Chase. It’s a really varied route but is mainly on easy paths and canal tow paths, with no steep bits.

The route will take us to a floating market of canal traders where we will take a beak and browse the stalls and no doubt get some drinks and snacks from the vendors.

We’ll also enjoy the rolling countryside of Cannock Chase and Richard has promised a Hot Cross Bun at some stage on the route!
