Anglesey Bank Holiday Hostel & Camping Chill Out Weekend
Overview
Not sure what to do for the early May bank holiday? Why not spend it with us in Anglesey on a lovely weekend break? It will involve exploring some of the most stunning coastal views that Anglesey has to offer (so don’t forget your camera). This three night bank holiday trip will be a refreshing weekend break with guided walks and local visits. The island is such a beautiful area, full of places for us to visit. Castles, beaches, shopping… you name it!
The Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path is a long distance walk that follows the picturesque coastline of the island. It’s full of striking natural beauty that’s ideal for walkers. As it is one of our guided walks, we will walk the highest point of Anglesey, Holyhead Mountain and have access to beautiful views of sea arches and cliffs.

Travel & Stay
On our trip to Anglesey, we will be staying at the 3 star Outdoor Alternative which has facilities designed for comfort all year round. The buildings are heated and well ventilated so our stay will be warm, fresh and relaxed.
There’s no need to worry about bedding since pillows, duvet & sheets are provided in the hostel but obviously if you choose the camping option, please bring your own. Toilet, shower and wash room facilities are either ensuite or adjacent to the bedrooms and for those camping there are plentiful onsite facilities however please note the site does not have electric hook ups for campers/campervans. Rooms will be allocated on a first come first served basis with 2 smaller rooms that take 3 or at a supplement can be used for couples. We only accept requests for bottom bunks for medical reasons and will do our best to assist but as most members would like a bottom bunk, we cannot guarantee them. The facilities provide space for parking although we are likely to be blocking each other in.
Camping/Campervans: If you are camping, provided the ground is in good condition, we can park our cars in front of our tents. Please note that this is a lovely, rustic site and there are no electric hooks ups or hard standing pitches. Access to the site limits them to campervans and tents; if you have a caravan or motorhome, please contact us first so we can pass this by them sizewise and additionally they are limited to a maximum of 3 in total.
