Bar Tour: Glossop
Overview
Join Julie for a tour of the Glossop pubs. Glossop has a vibrant, highly diverse pub scene that seamlessly bridges traditional countryside boozers with modern craft beer hubs. Located right on the edge of the Peak District, it is a prime destination for real ale enthusiasts, hikers, and foodies alike. The town’s drinking establishments broadly fall into distinct geographic and stylistic categories.
Starting at The Harvey Lenard at 14.30pm,(opposite the station) for a glass of wine with your host Julie. Next you will be off to The Commercial Inn and then The Oakwood. Finally your will finish you bar tour in The Friendship Inn.

We envisage that most members will join this event by taking the train.
Logistics: Trains are 14.03 from Piccadilly and arrive in Glossop at 14.33. The Harvey Lenard is opposite the Train Station.
The train is about £8.40 or about £6.14 with a Senior Railcard return.
By Car: If you would prefer to drive you can still meet Julie at The Harvey Lenard. There are many car parks in Glossop town centre.
