Stratford upon Avon River Boat Trip
Overview
The tour departs from the historic canal basin in the most beautiful part of town.
The unique trip has an amusing and light commentary which is interspersed with well-known classical music to complement the stretch of the river. During the trip you will enjoy unparalleled views of the Theatre, Holy Trinity (Shakespeare's burial place), experience local water fowl and travel through one of the oldest and most iconic locks in the country, which fuelled the industrial revolution, so you will experience an actual working lock.
Meet the river wildlife at eye height. The swans follow us most of the time, not to mention coots, tufted ducks, herons and even the occasional Kingfisher.
The trips lasts for 40-45 minutes.
