Mike's Three lighthouses walk
Overview
This coastal walk of 9.5 miles is at Burnham-on-Sea. A mixture of park, riverside walk, promenade, beach and dunes, taking in a total of three lighthouses (including the iconic ‘lighthouse on stilts’), two churches and an historic shipwreck. Fairly lengthy but we will stop for morning coffee and lunch, and the walk is totally flat!
Meet at Apex Park Burnham-on-Sea 10.45 for a 11.00 start. Gather by the visitor centre, toilets are available at the start and after 20 minutes.
Afterwards, we can have coffee at the Apex Park cafe if it is open (closed in the winter) or drive half mile back to the sea front to the cafe or the Reeds arms pub for coffee and chat.
