Join us for this Summer evening cinema showing of this classic movie.
A fantastic open-air showing of the classic Bridget Jones' Diary!
One of the all-time classic movies and what better excuse to get together with Spice friends old and new than watching Bridget Jones under the stars with nibbles and some cheeky drinks.
Plus music to enjoy before the movie.
Bring a picnic (no glasses, paper and plastic cups only please) and a blanket or camping chair.
There will be toilet facilities onsite.
Please note that this is an outdoor event and there is no shelter provided. The event will go ahead in the event of rain. Please check the forecast on the day of the screening and come prepared for the conditions. If it does rain we just need to call upon the Great British spirit, dress accordingly, and live for the moment!
Our supplier will closely monitor weather forecasts in the lead up to the shows and should there ever be any concern regarding the weather, we will be told by email/text but otherwise it can be assumed that shows will be going ahead as planned.
This is a public event and not a Spice Exclusive.

Location & Itinerary
Accessibility - The event is held on flat ground with short grass and a slight slope at the back of the event space. It is approx. 400m from the car park. Most of this route is on a flat, gravel path; however, there is a sloping path down to the screening area. On the return up to the car park, the path up the hill is steep and winding, with no handrails. There will be accessible toilet facilities on site. The friendly stewards will help if you require any assistance.
Smokers - Smoking is not allowed within the seating areas for the comfort of guests. This includes e-cigs and vapes. We usually designate a smoking area away from the audience area but some locations do stipulate no smoking on any part of the grounds. Please be considerate of others and abide by this rule.
Screenings take place to the side of the mansion. Free parking is Parking is available at Calke Abbey and there will be a drop off and collection point for taxis.
