Spectacle of Light, Welford Park, Newbury

This will be Spice Socials first visit to Welford Park, I hope it won't be the last. The pictures are spectacular and it seems like a pleasant way to spend an Autumn evening. Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

Discover the night-time wonder of Welford Park through a wonderful spectacle of light and sound. Enjoy this beautiful, illuminated trail through the majestic woodland and around the gardens all lit under the stars.

Treat yourself to an indulgent and warming hot chocolate along the trail, and why not add marshmallows or kinder bueno?

Stop and take a moment to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds on the front lawn and enjoy delicious hot food from local food vendors. The bar offers mulled cider, local ales and wines plus soft drinks and tea and coffee.

There is a covered bar with plenty of tables and chairs. Parking is free so take your time and enjoy your evening on the grounds.

A timeless experience for all ages. A typical walk will take approximately 60 – 75 minutes, although if you wish to stay longer you are very welcome.

Tickets have been booked for 7pm and we will gather a few minutes beforehand.

Many of our paths are wood chipped, which makes wheelchair access tough but not impossible. We are working towards making our paths hardcore but please keep this in mind when booking for this year’s event.
