Indian Block Printing Workshop
Overview
This beginner’s session to learn this style of Indian Block Printing will be held at Taylor’d Crafts HQ, Aston Fields, Bromsgrove.
After a short demonstration you will practice first on material to get confident with using the blocks and paint. You don’t need any artistic talent as the blocks do the work for you.
Then you’ll go onto your pieces of work from a cotton/linen blend of :-
Tote Bag
Bottle Bag
4 Napkins
Bunting
Cushion Covers
You will choose 3 of these items to print onto and take home.
You will also have a drink of your choice and a delicious cake too.
Bring an apron or wear old clothes.
Please note this is a public event.
Includes
- A 2 hour beginners workshop on creating prints using Indian Block print, guided by Jayne our host from Taylor'd Crafts.
- All the materials and the choice of 3 items to print onto and take home. ..
