12 Course Brazilian/British Taster Experience at Sampa
Overview
Tonight we are in for a treat, it's not just a meal, it's an experience - we absolutely loved our first visit in 2025 and have been eagerly awaiting our return!
Sampa is a joyous British-Brazilian feast in Manchester’s most intimate dining room, an immersive setting where we can witness the magic of culinary creation up close. This isn’t just a meal—it’s a journey, crafted to bring a sense of connection and discovery to every bite..
In what surely has to be one of Manchester’s most unlikely, cosy dining rooms, SAMPA seats just 12 guests below Calcio Pub each evening, offering a 12-course tasting that changes on a daily basis. Optional drink pairings are also available, ranging from expertly curated Latin American wines to in-house infused cachaças and soft drinks.
Caroline, who rose to prominence during her time on Masterchef and has since helmed several acclaimed restaurant concepts in the city, describes her cooking as British-Brazilian fusion, and a loving tribute to both cuisines. Throughout the menu, local producers like Littlewoods Butchers and Dan & The Bees Honey are tied seamlessly together with exciting South American flavours. The end result? It’s pretty spectacular which is why you have to book months in advance when the places are released!
Please Note: due to the limited space available they are not able to cater for Vegans. Please let us know at the time of booking if you have any other dietary or allergy requirements as we have to notify the restaurant in advance.
