Tonight our regular curry will be at the popular Nawaab restaurant in the centre of Leeds.

We'll start with poppadoms and pickles followed by your choice of starter and main with rice and naan to share.

STARTERS

Tandoori Chicken Tikka - Diced chicken marinated in spices and yoghurt then cooked in the tandoor

Garlic Chicken Tikka - Marinated chicken in spices then cooked on the grill with garlic and chillies

Chicken Pakora - Strips of chicken breast with onions special herbs & spices, coated with gram flour then deep fried

Chicken Wings - Succulent chicken wings marinated in spices & yoghurt. Cooked over charcoal

Chicken Bhuna on Puri - Chicken breast pieces cooked in Bhuna sauce, herbs & spices, served on a puri

Seekh Kebab - Tender minced lamb with onions, herbs and spices then cooked over charcoal

Lamb Bhuna on Puri - Diced lamb cooked in Bhuna sauce and spices. Served on a puri

Meat Samosa - Minced meat with herbs & spices filled into a triangular shaped pastry, then deep fried

Stir Fry Chicken Tikka - Diced chicken marinated in spices and yoghurt, then cooked in a clay oven. Then stir fried with onions, tomatoes, green chillies & coriander served on a sizzler

Fish Pakora - Strips of haddock, onions, herbs & spices, coated with gram flour & deep fried

Mushroom Bhuna Puri - Mushrooms cooked in bhuna sauce, herbs & spices then served on a puri (V)

Aloo & Chana on Puri - Potatoes & chickpeas cooked in a bhuna sauce, herbs & spices. Served on a puri (V)

Vegetable Samosa - Mixed vegetables filled into a triangular shaped pastry, then deep fried (V)

Paneer Pakora - Soft cheese with onions, herbs & spices coated with gram flour & deep fried (V)

Paneer Tikka - Soft Indian cheese (similar to Feta) marinated in herbs & spices (V)

Onion Bhaji - Sliced onions in a spicy batter then deep fried (V)

 

MAINS

Chicken Tikka Masala - Chicken tikka cooked in a clay oven, then with a special sauce with selected herbs & spices

Karahi Murgh - Boneless spring chicken cooked in a karahi (wok) with garlic, herbs & spices

Tandoori Chicken Tikka - Served on a sizzler. Chicken breast marinated in a tandoori sauce with yoghurt, then cooked in a clay oven with fresh herbs & spices. Served with pilau rice and fresh green salad

Nawaabi Murgh - Diced chicken breast cooked in a balti to enhance the flavour of a delicately spiced sauce. Cooked with tomatoes, ginger, garlic & a hint of yoghurt

Chicken Shashlik - Served on a sizzler. Diced chicken marinated in a special sauce with mushrooms, tomatoes, onions & green peppers. Served with pilau rice and fresh green salad

Chicken Ginger - Diced chicken breast cooked with fresh ginger, tomatoes & traditional herbs & spices. Garnished with fresh coriander

Butter Chicken - Chicken breast is marinated in a special masala, then cooked in a buttery and creamy sauce & ground almonds

Chicken Tikka Makhani - Chicken breast marinated in a special masala and cooked in a clay oven and cooked with a creamy sauce & ground almonds

Nawaabi Lamb - Chunks of lamb cooked in delicately spiced Chef’s special sauce. Cooked with onions, tomatoes, garlic, ginger and a hint of yoghurt

Karahi Gosht - Chunks of lamb Marinated in a garlic & ginger sauce, then pan roasted with fresh tomatoes, green seeds, bayleaf, cardamom, spices & herbs

Tarka Dall - Chana dall cooked in spicy sauce with herbs & tomatoes (V)

Bhindi Rogan Josh - Okra cooked with mild spices, herbs, tomatoes, green peppers & onions (V)

Shahi Paneer - Soft cheese with mild spices, onions, peppers, tomatoes, fresh green peas (V)

Dall Makhani - Chana dall cooked with cream & mild spices (V)

Dall Palak - Chana dall cooked with spinach, herbs & spices (V)

Korma (Mild) - A creamy dish cooked with fresh cream, sultanas, coconut, almonds & herbs & spices. Choose chicken, lamb or vegetables

Makhani (Mild to Medium) - Cooked with fresh cream, cashew nuts and almonds. Choose chicken, lamb or vegetables

Bhuna (Medium) - A popular dish cooked with spices, tomatoes, onions and herbs. Choose chicken, lamb or vegetables

Madras (Hot) - A highly spiced curry with spices and green chillies. Choose chicken, lamb or vegetables

Dopiaza (Medium) - A popular dish cooked with spices, herbs and lots of onions. Choose chicken, lamb or vegetables

Rogan Josh (Medium) - A popular dish cooked with spices, tomatoes, green peppers and onions. Choose chicken, lamb or vegetables

Jalfrezi (Medium) - Cooked with onions, peppers & selected spices to make a fresh curry.  Choose chicken, lamb or vegetables

Kashmiri (Mild) - Cooked with mild spices, banana & fresh cream. Choose chicken, lamb or vegetables

Pathia (Mild) - Sweet and sour cooked with thick tomato sauce. Choose chicken, lamb or vegetables

Dansak (Sweet & Sour) - Cooked with mild spices, pineapple & lentils. Choose chicken, lamb or vegetables
