Saturday Sundowner Cruise - Caversham Pier, Reading
Overview
We have had several successful private parties on the Caversham Princess, one Summer Party and one Halloween, as well as attending other events (Swan Upping, 80s parties etc.)
Cruising from Caversham Pier through twists and turns to Mapledurham Lock and Weir. This is the river as it should be, tranquil and stunning in Wind in the Willows Country. It's a sight for the locals when the party boat goes by, we saw some dancing on the riverbanks!
The point is to see the sun go down, so it's early evening, afterwards we can eat at the nearby Toby Carvery, or The Chinese restaurant inside the Genting Casino.

Early Evening on the Thames - Sundowner Style
Our favourite time of day on the river, just as the day starts to cool a little and boats moor for the night, we head out for a relaxing two-hour cruise on the Thames.
We have live music from local musicians combined with the stunning river as a backdrop. A full bar onboard and whenever possible we will use our open deck vessel the Alexandra creating that perfect blend of music, fresh air and beauty of the Thames.
Fleur Stevenson: Gifted with a honeyed tone, an offbeat sense of humour and a natural charismatic stage presence. Fleur will take you back through the golden age of swing up to more contemporary jazz, blues, Latin and funk.

There is a fully stocked bar, with normal pub prices.
There is a car park near the boarding point, Postcode RG1 8DB. Parking after 5pm is free.
