Houdini Mystery Adventure in Leeds
Working in small teams, we'll walk around Leeds and solve the mystery of the golden handcuffs.
This is a ‘whodunnit’ treasure hunt adventure!
“In 1911, The Great Houdini arrived in Leeds to perform a dangerous escape in return for a set of solid gold handcuffs.. but moments before his act, they vanished!”
Some say they’re still hidden somewhere in Leeds...
And now it’s your chance to find them!
We'll work in teams of around four-six people, and each team will share a workbook. As we walk around the city, we'll discover Leeds’ amazing history and some secret hidden gems.
Combine your skills to crack the clues and unravel the epic tale.
The route includes two historic taverns, so if you wish to stop for a rest on route, there will be opportunity!

The pages of your mystery guide take you on an exciting puzzle adventure through the heart of the city, as you follow the maps, unlock the clues, and unravel the tale.
Your challenge is to track down hidden objects, decode symbols, and uncover hidden messages, as you eliminate suspects and gradually unpick the crime.
Those of you that have tried a Mystery Adventure with us before in York and Sheffield will know how much fun they are, If not, then why not join us this time and find out!
Afterwards, we'll retire to a pub for celebratory drinks, and food if you wish.
Location & Itinerary
We will walk about 2 miles. The route is wheelchair accessible.
We'll meet just inside Leeds Railway Station by the main exit near to Caffè Nero.
