Bar Tour: Glossop
Overview
Join Julie for a tour of the Glossop pubs. Glossop has a vibrant, highly diverse pub scene that seamlessly bridges traditional countryside boozers with modern craft beer hubs. Located right on the edge of the Peak District, it is a prime destination for real ale enthusiasts, hikers, and foodies alike. The town’s drinking establishments broadly fall into distinct geographic and stylistic categories.
Starting at The Star Inn at 14.30pm, where you will meet Julie. Next you will be off to the Queens Arms, a table is booked for 15.30pm. There are many other pubs to go tlike the Harvey Leonard for fantastic food and ales. Then you can walk across to the Distant Hills Brewery for a pint straight from the source and a sunny beer garden.

We envisage that most members will join this event by taking the train.
Logistics: Trains are 14.03 from Piccadilly and arrive in Glossop at 14.33. The Star Inn is right by the Train Station.
Train is about £8.40 or about £5.50 with a Senior Railcard.
By Car: If you would prefer to drive you can still meet Julie at The star Inn. There are many car parks in Glossop town centre.
