Its been a while since we visited The Ivy and we always get great feedback.
Tonight, we will eat from the '1917 Heritage Menu'. You will find an example of the menu in the 'Food and Meals' section to tempt you but please be aware that the menu may be subject to change.
Since 1917, The original Ivy on West Street, London has been a destination for those seeking to enjoy bold, timeless flavours. Today, the 1917 set menu pays homage to this rich culinary heritage, celebrating the dishes that first defined London’s Theatreland..
The Ivy Temple Row brings relaxed, sophisticated all-day dining to the heart of Birmingham, seven days a week. From modern brasserie classics to Asian-inspired cuisine and fantastic vegan and vegetarian dishes, there is find something for everyone to love.
Overlooking St. Philip’s Cathedral, the brasserie offers a luxurious haven from the everyday bustle.
Glamourous Art-Deco detail, polished marble floors and striking burnt orange banquettes will let us relax in style while we enjoy our dinner.

Extras
Although we have chosen to eat from the '1917 Heritage Menu', sides are extra and there is a supplement for the steak dish. Drinks will also need to be paid for as we go through the evening.

Starters
- Roast Pumpkin and Butternut Squash Soup: Chestnut ricotta, pine nuts and sage
- Salt and Pepper Calamari: Sesame and Gochujang glaze with an Asian slaw
- Emilia-Romagna cured coppa ham: with shredded celeriac salad and toasted Italian ciabatta bread
Main courses
- Bang Bang Aubergine with Tenderstem Broccoli: Roasted peanuts, sesame, red chilli, white mooli with miso and ponzu mayonnaise
- Minute Steak with Peppercorn Sauce: Thinly-beaten steak with peppercorn sauce, onions, thick cut chips and watercress - £4.95 supplement
- Pan-fried Sea Bream with Mexican-style Grains: Tomato and red pepper tapenade and rustic tomato sauce
- Cumberland Sausages with Truffled Red Wine Sauce: Spinach mashed potatoes, crispy onions and watercress
Desserts
- Frosted Frozen Berries: Chilled winter berries and redcurrants, served with creamy frozen yoghurt and a delicate pour of white chocolate sauce
- Paris-Brest with Hazelnut and Almond Praline Cream: Vanilla ice cream, flaked almonds, lemon balm and chocolate sauce
- Crème Brulée: Classic set vanilla custard with a caramelised sugar crust
