Freemasons’ Hall is a landmark to Londoners

Have you ever wandered through Covent Garden and wondered what lies behind the doors of this iconic Grade II* listed building?
Join one of our knowledgeable guides and all will be revealed, on this 55-minute guided tour of the Museum of Freemasonry and Freemasons’ Hall. You will discover the fascinating history of Freemasonry, from the early days of the first Grand Lodge in 1717, to the thriving centuries that followed as Freemasonry spread across the world.
There has been a building on this site since 1774 and the current building was completed in 1933 designed by H V Ashly and Winston Newman. It was funded and built partly as a memorial to Freemasons who had died in World War One. It's a exuberant Art Deco masterpiece inside and out almost every surface has some sort of detail or decoration and it's unsurprisingly used in filming regularly. It appears in The Crown, Specture ,the James Bond film, Johnny English and much more. The Centerpiece through is the Grand Temple. this is where large Masonic meeting and events take place. It has beautiful mosaics all around the cornice of the hall, packed with symbolism's look up at the ceiling to see the all seeing eye.
Why not see if the group want to go for a drink and a bite to eat afterwards
