Silver Screenings - Showcase Reading - Film The Choral
Overview
This is our favourite Reading Cinema. It has a Costa coffee shop and a bar, and all screens have luxurious leather reclining seats.
Much as I hate the name, Silver Screenings allows those over 60 to see any film starting before 4pm at a reduced price. They also have an offer of 15% off in Costa for selected hot drinks and snacks, so thought we'd give it a whirl! Possible fims are listed below, do let me know if you have any preferences or suggestions in the booking question.

The Choral
A Yorkshire village’s choral society finds its ranks depleted as men head off to war. With the annual performance looming, the society is forced to change its entry rules to enlist some unlikely teens and the musically gifted but socially scandalous Dr. Guthrie. Brimming with humour and hope, Bennett and Nicholas Hytner’s (The Madness of King George, The Lady in the Van) latest triumph celebrates the power of community in the darkest of days.
Starring Ralph Fiennes, Roger Allam, Mark Addy, Alun Armstrong, Simon Russell Beale
