Belfast Social Weekend

Overview: It’s been a few years since we visited this lovely city, and we have received many requests to run it again – so here it is.

Belfast is a short flight from the UK (around an hour) so it’s ideal for a long weekend. We will develop a coordinated itinerary and look after you over the weekend.

Belfast has so much to offer; the award winning Titanic Experience, City Hall Tour, Stormont (Irish Parliament), Belfast Cathedral, Crumlin Road Goal (Jail), SS Nomadic, harbour boat trip, the Falls Road / Shankhill Road tour to name a few.

We stay right in the centre, at the IBIS city centre hotel, which is walking distance to many of the attractions.

As with all of Steve and Arlene’s social weekends there will be a set of coordinated activities throughout the weekend; you can do all of them of just dip in and out as you please (although many will need to be booked in advance). These will be advertised in advance so you can plan your weekend. 

Travel: The plan is to book your own flights independently rather than packaging them as this is more flexible and cost effective. There are direct flights from most major airports, and we have suggested flight details from some of the larger airports. (See the Getting There section below). If you are confident to do this yourself then book your travel (most will fly) when you have booked the weekend with Spice. If you aren’t confident Steve can ‘walk’ you through the process.

Airport / Hotel Transfers: The easiest way is to get the airport shuttle bus from outside the terminal building which stops very near to the hotel). Details will be given in the joining pack. 

Because of the nature of this weekend the payment due and cancellation period is longer than usual – balances are due 8 weeks in advance.
