Sunday Walk: Greenbooth + Naden Reservoirs
Overview
This excellent walk takes you along Naden Brook on good paths taking in some of the local heritage, then out of Norden and up towards the moors and around the four man made lakes of Greenbooth, Naden Lower, Naden Middle and Naden Higher Reservoir.
This walk is mostly goods tracks but there are some small wooded areas, a bit of moorland and several sets of steps. You can see reminders of the past and also some of the wind turbines on Scout Moor. There can be a number of dog-walkers around Greenbooth (named after the village that was submerged by the reservoir) but the further paths are less populated with other walkers.
