Sunday Walk: Cheesden near Bury
Overview
A walk exploring the area above Edenfield, running alongside the babbling Cheesden Brook, including the haunting ruins of Cheesden Mill. Underfoot the conditions are mainly good, though sometimes rocky and there are great views overlooking the Irwell Valley plus panoramic views of the west Pennine moors and beyond. Please bring sandwiches as we will be stopping en route for a picnic. As ever, please bring your walking boots.
