Join Samantha and Spice South Coast as we explore a new venue for Sunday lunch, The Talisman in Park Gate, a handsome, stylishly-decorated pub restaurant near Southampton. It is named after a variety of strawberries that once grew in the nearby fields – so you’ll find plenty of sweet, nature-inspired touches to the pub.

The Sunday roast is a generously-portioned classic. Their chefs work with seasonal ingredients to reinvigorate traditional pub food, offering familiar favourites alongside imaginative fine dining dishes. That means hand-cut chips, sumptuous specials, and luscious puds you won’t want to share.

Come and join Anita on the first of a series of South Coast strolls for those who love being by the sea. We will be following the English Coastal Trail.

This is the first of 6 ambles over the summer and is an easy 1.5 hour stroll. There are several excellent coffee stops, along the way, and stunningly beautiful views over the Fareham lake, including inspiring views over the iconic Spinnaker Tower.

This event is free and open to non-members/ex-members of Spice South Coast who may be interested in joining/re-joining the group but wanting to experience an event before committing. If you are free in the morning, you may like to join Anita on the first of her series of walks, Fareham to Portchester Castle which has been advertised separately - whichever you choose, you will be guaranteed a fun time.
