Spice South Coast Tries Throwing for Beginners, Winchester

Join Samantha and Spice South Coast as we experience a 3 hour introduction to throwing. This is perfect for those who have never tried pottery before.

In these workshops, you will be walked through the key steps of making a pot on the wheel before hopping on your own wheel and giving it a try yourself. Focusing on simple forms such as cups, bowls and jugs, our tutors will be on hand to give help and advice along the way to ensure you create your vision. In this class you will make up to 4 pots each and they bisque fire your best two within 6 weeks.

If you wish to glaze your pieces once bisque fired, we will be holding a pottery painting event after the six weeks in order that you are able to complete your pieces.
