Shustoke Reservoir and Furnace End Easy to Moderate Ramble and optional Sunday Lunch
Overview
This great ramble 6½ mile ramble from Rob Smith explores Shustoke reservoir and the villages of Furnace End, Church End and returns through Hoggrill's End.
The ramble initially circumnavigates the reservoir and along a low valley with some lovely views before we drop down to Furnace end and its wonderful St Cuthbert's Church which can be seen for much oof the ramble.
The ramble has some gentle inclines but nothing strenuous
We pause here at the Griffin in before making our way back via Hoggrill's end to nether Whittaker
After the ramble, we have the option of a Sunday Lunch
