Private Tour of Birmingham Crown Court
Overview
This event always proves to be popular. Its really interesting to see the wheels of justice in real life!
Today we have an opportunity to visit Birmingham Crown Courts and to gain an understanding about how the law and the courts operate.
We will need to arrive at 8.45am and we will be taken into a courtroom. A court usher will deliver a brief talk about roles in the court room and court etiquette. Please feel free to ask as many questions as you wish whilst with our usher.
Our group will then be split into groups of 3 or 4, and we will be taken to sit in the public gallery of a court to observe the court in action.
We can stay in the courts for as long as we like and can swap courts to hear various cases if we wish.
Why not join us afterwards at Beans and Banter at E.L and N - Birmingham | Spice Social. Click on the link for more details.

Host & Everything Else
I saw a bit of action in court! I ended up wandering into Court 7 where there was a modern slavery case which carried on into the afternoon. The judge wasn't holding back!
Really enjoyed the visit. Shame some defendants didn't turn up or that cases was adjourned. Well worth a return,
This was fascinating although the courts were quiet.
Really enjoyed the visit ,very interesting and well worth the visit.
