Overview

Skye is a truly magical place. The largest of the Inner Hebrides, it's home to some of Scotland's most iconic landscapes. The island has countless ways to enchant you, with its mountain ranges, miles of dramatic coastline and captivating history. Bring your sense of adventure! We will aim to explore as much as we can in a jam packed 3 nights.

Quiraing and the Cuillin mountains, Kilt Rock and Mealt Falls or Coral Beach, we can also delve into the culture and history of the Isle of Skye at great attractions, such as Skyeskyns, Dunvegan Castle and the Skye Museum of Island Life. The Fairie Glen and Pools are another option to explore.

The Kings Arms Hotel is based in Kyleakin, a pretty village on the Isle of Skye with panoramic views across the Kyle of Lochalsh to mainland Scotland.

Dating back to the 1600s, the hotel is one of the oldest on the island. While it has a range of modern comforts, it still retains many traditional features, such as big, open fires.

Getting There

Skye is over 5 hours drive from Edinburgh and Glasgow.

There are trains from Glasgow to Kyle of Lochalsh, the nearest train station to our hotel. A taxi will be required from there to the hotel - 5 minute car trip accross the Skye bridge.
