Murder at the Masked Ball at Cedar Court Huddersfield
Overview
Lottery winners Gladys and Frank Lee have lavished a fortune on their new home among the fabulously rich but their neighbours still don't want to know them. Now they're hosting a masked ball in the hope their neighbours will have fun without realising who is who. Everyone loves a masked ball. But behind the masks it's easy to get away with murder!

After we've had dinner and solved the crime, we can continue the party in the Dug Out, the hotel's private bar.
Location & Itinerary
6:45pm: Meet in the hotel bar
7pm: We move through to dinner, during which the crime will occur and we will try to solve it
10pm: We move into the Dug Out for the after-party.
This event includes a three course dinner as below. A vegan option will also be available and they can cater for food allergies.
Starter
Roasted plum tomato & red pepper soup (v) Basil crème fraiche
or
Broccoli & Yorkshire blue cheese soup (v) Roasted hazelnut cream
Mains
Pan Fried Gnocchi (v), mushroom, peas & baby onion, white wine cream. Can be made vegan if required.
or
Slow Cooked Belly Pork, white onion mash, candied carrot, sugar snap peas, apple & sage puree. Port reduction sauce
or
Roasted chicken breast. Parmentier potato, fine beans, honey roast parsnip, red wine gravy.
Dessert
Strawberry Ripple Cheesecake (v), Mint Chantilly cream, peppered strawberry puree
6.45pm in the hotel bar to go through to the Ainley Suite at 7pm.
Location: The hotel is located just off the M62 at junction 24. There is plenty of on site car parking. This is free if you are attending an event here.
Host & Everything Else
Brilliant night, rooms basic but fine (just need to note no safe in room). The quality of the food was excellent - I was pleasantly surprised by the evening meal and breakfast.
