We meet for lunch at the delightful Leckenby's Tea Room which is always a treat. They serve an array of fresh, tasty food and have long been a favourite lunchtime venue on Market Days. We can then explore Bury's World Famous Market. Bury market is an open air market consisting of a large market hall, with over 370 stalls outside offering an amazing variety of products, including fruit, flowers, clothing, hardware and groceries. The most famous of these stalls is of course 'Bury's Black Pudding', a must!
If you tire of the market, there is also the Mill Gate shopping centre and the more recently the The Rock both home to a diverse line up of fashionable stores and brands.

Meet outside Leckenby's Cafe at 11.55am BL9 0QG in the Mill Gate shopping mall.
Leckenby's is situated at 27 Minden Parade the nearest metro stop is the end of the line at Bury interchange, which is located in the bus depot or the 135 bus from Manchester city centre also ends at the Bury interchange. There are several car parks the nearest is The Market car park, Bury, BL9 0RN, please bring change for the meter. It's a 5-minute walk to Leckenby's from either the car park or the interchange.
