Insider Night at the Cinema - Showcase Reading - Film: Digger
Overview
This is our favourite Reading Cinema. It has a Costa coffee shop and a bar, and all screens have luxurious leather reclining seats. They operate a discount scheme called Insider, on Mondays you can get discounted entry. It is free to join the scheme and you can then buy tickets for £5.99 each (plus £2.00 Booking fee - usually tickets are about £14). Follow this LINK to join the scheme. You will need to give your insider membership details to obtain the cheap ticket, otherwise you will need to purchase the full price ticket.
I had this on my Radar for the end of October, but I am worried it will vanish before then as it is out on 2nd, and films seem to come and go very quickly nowadays unless they are huge blockbusters! The film start time is 8.15pm, we'll meet in the Costa beforehand for a chat and get refreshments if we want them. Hope you can join me!

Digger (Black Comedy)
Tom Cruise stars as Digger Rockwell, a corrupt, wealthy oilman whose aggressive drilling operation in Greenland triggers a catastrophic chain reaction and a massive tsunami.
Tasked by the U.S. President (played by John Goodman), Digger is ordered to clean up the mess he created before it destroys humanity.
Instead of facing true remorse, Digger tries to spin the public narrative and convince the world that he is its ultimate savior, clashing with scientists like Ganesh (Riz Ahmed) along the way
