One of a series of Heritage talks at Moor Pool Hall, Harborne.
Austin Village in Longbridge, Birmingham, is a unique historic19171917 housing development built for World War I munitions workers. Featuring 200 distinctive, prefabricated cedar wood bungalows imported from the USA, it was originally intended to be temporary but has survived for over 100 years and is now a designated conservation area.
This evenings talk is presented by Hazel Griffiths of the Austin Village Preservation Society.

Moor Pool Hall is approximately a 10 minute walk from Lordswood Road. There does not appear to be a car park at the hall.
