Duckpin Bowling, Shooting & Ice Free Curling at Roxy Ballroom
Overview
Come and join us for a fun session at Roxy Deansgate where we get to try our hand at 3 different, fun games. Today we will be trying out Duckpin Bowling followed by Shooting and Ice Free Curling.
- Duckpin Bowling - a faster, more casual variation of the classic ten-pin game. While it shares some DNA with standard bowling, it uses smaller, "squat" pins and palm-sized balls that lack finger holes. It is great fun!
- Virtual Shooting - we recently had a trial session and it is fabulous fun. The virtual shooting pods bring the thrill of the chase to life without any of the fallout! Lock and load with a round of clay pigeon shooting. take aim, take the lead and show the city you’ve got what it takes to hit the mark or saddle up for a Wild West showdown, where you’ll trade city streets for dusty trails, battling bad guys in a pixel-perfect digital frontier. We will be armed with 2 rifles.
- Ice Free Curling - where players slide their stones down the smooth surface of the lane, aiming for the bullseye. The only chill in the air will come from opponents as this is an ice-free curling lane, one of only a few across the UK. It's a great fun activity and don't worry, you don't have to be particularly fit to take part.
With a total of 90 minutes of play time over the full session, dependent upon numbers the group is likely to be splif for Virtual Shooting and Ice Free Curling.
Why not join us afterwards to discuss how good (or not!) we were at the games for food at Meet & Eat Sunday Lunch at Sam's Chophouse.
