Lisa has suggested we try a Saturday Matinee for a change. Cinema is a lovely sociable event, meal a chat and a film is a great way to spend some time with your Spice friends.
We haven't chosen a film yet, so we are unable to commit to a specific time, once you have booked, you could suggest a film in the chat or use the whatsapp group.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Watch out for exciting alliances with other Marvel greats in future films, but the question hanging over Brand New Day is whether this could be Tom Holland’s final outing in the cobwebs. After No Way Home wiped the world’s memory, Peter is truly alone, walking not leaping through a grounded, street-level New York.
This brand-new starting point sees him act solo, battling countless villains, even rumours of Hulk, as his DNA mutates in a visceral shift that’s been likened to puberty.
The End of Oak Street
Sci-fi survival film where a family comprising Anne Hathaway, Ewan McGregor, Maisy Stella and Christian Convery find their suburban neighbourhood cosmically uprooted and planted down in a prehistoric setting.
This is no time for sibling squabbles or kid-against-parent uprisings, the squad have got to stick together if they’re going to survive this.
Practical Magic 2
Assembling Sandra Bullock, Nicole Kidman, Dianne Wiest and Stockard Channing on the same call sheet guarantees some form of magic, even before you cast them as the reuniting witches from semi-beloved 1995 movie Practical Magic. Probably won’t scare anyone witless but Gen-Xers of a certain age and romantic disposition will be forming an orderly queue.
Coyote Vs Acme
Warner Bros. tried to take an Acme mallet to this comedy but it escaped – presumably through a hastily painted tunnel – and finally sees the light of day. And thank the stars, because all the pointers are that it’s a giddy joy. Will Forte plays a hangdog lawyer who teams up with Wile E Coyote to sue Acme Corporation for faulty products. The spirit of Who Framed Roger Rabbit is strong in this one.
Stop! That! Train!
Your local cinema will be getting a burst of charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent as RuPaul plays POTUS in this disaster comedy about a couple of stewardesses (Drag Race veterans Ginger Minj and Jujubee) trying to avert disaster aboard the Glamazonian Express. Look out for Missi Pyle as ‘Horny Divorcee’ and Sarah Michelle Gellar as ‘Famous Actress’. Rock of Ages and Disenchanted director Adam Shankman is man hoping not to f*ck it up.
